Impressive pieces of art from Monumental cemetery Torino, Italy' - by K.J.S.Chatrath

Giovanni Antonio Porcheddu (1860-1937) was an Italian engineer who introduced the technique of reinforced concerete constructions in Italy. . The sculptral part of the funerary monument dated 1912 is the work of Edoardo Rubino, the decorative mosaic of Giulio Casanova. This is a happy example of collaboration between the two artists who expressed the exaltation of visual art in their languages.
